The third script of an advent trilogy. The previous two are The Plan and Mary & Joseph. Two angels are excited to be part of the angelic choir.
Two angels
("A" rushes in and grasps "B" by the arm; both dressed in white robes)
A -- I've got some exciting news! We've been chosen to be part of the mission!
B -- What's the mission?
A -- We're going to help announce the LORD's arrival on the Earth!
B -- The Plan you told me about... I still don't understand it all, but it's got to be the best news Mankind has ever heard. Now they will understand His love. Now they will see how far the LORD will go to win them back! Lucifer has had his way with them for too long. It's time to set them free!
A -- I am told we are about to drop in on a group shepherds on a hillside. We must remember that people are frightened whenever they see even one angel, so most of us will not appear until after the message is delivered. It could be a bit overwhelming if we all suddenly appeared at once out of a dark sky!
B -- Then let's not leave them in the dark any longer! Let's go and give them glad tidings of great joy!
(Both exit)
