How does a missionary hopeful get guidance?

Script

 

(Christian sits on floor, reading a missionary magazine. Evangelist 1 and 2 enter from alternate sides of the stage, make their pronouncements and leave.)

Evangelist 1

There are 253-million Muslims in Arab countries who don't know about Jesus Christ.

Christian

(Points after exiting Evangelist.) That's it! That's where I'm being led. (Holds pointing position.)

Evangelist 2

There are still three-thousand tribes who have never had any part of the Bible translated into their own language.

Christian

(Points in opposite direction with other hand; ie, he is now pointing in two opposite directions.) Lord, that's it! That's where I'm needed.

Evangelist 1

150-million Hindus in India are waiting to hear the Gospel for the first time.

Christian

(Points with one foot, in addition to hands.) That's it, Lord. That's where I'm supposed to go.

Evangelist 2

Five-thousand Australian aborigines are desparate for pastoral care.

Christian

(Points with remaining leg.) That's it - that's where I'm needed.

Evangelist 1

A new openness to the Holy Spirit is being experienced among Mayan Indians, and they're asking for someone to come and teach them.

Christian

(Falls flat on back in total despair.) Oh Lord, where do you want me to go?
