Would I
have done what I did if I had known?
Would I
have said what I said if I had known?
Would I
have gone where I went if I had known?
I don’t
know would I?
Would
things now be different if I had known?
Would each
day now be bearable if I had known?
Would life
be much happier if I had known?
I don’t
know would they?
I’m not
sure, is the answer, but it would have been nice to be told.
To be
trusted by you and not left out in the cold.
Now the
big question is, have we left it too late?
Or is it
time to give in and go our separate ways at the gate.
