(John is sitting reading a newspaper. Sheri enters.)
John: (sarcastic tone) Emotional !
Sheri: (getting upset) No!
John: (sarcastic tone) You!
John: (not listening) Huh?
John: (uncaring tone) Busy
John: (still reading paper) Date
John: (looks at Sheri raises voice) Someone!
(Skit escalates here)
John: (getting a little heated) Tired!
Sheri: (getting emotional) Why?
(Yelling at each other! Standing up)
Sheri: (bangs fist on John’s chest) You!
Narrator: Can this marriage be salvaged. Did it have to come to this? Let’s look at an alternative scenario.
Act 2 at a restaurant
John: (pulls chair out for Sheri to sit)
Sheri: Thank you.
Sheri: (looks at John and smiles) you!
John: (smiles and raises eyebrows) Order.
John: Prime rib.
John: (in agreement) Distracted.
Sheri: (agreeing) Busy.
Sheri: & John: together
Sheri: (smiles at John) Yes.
Sheri: & John: Love you.
