• Christian Musicals (USA) – Free Christian musicals and music.
• ChristianSkitScripts – A collection of over 40 original skit scripts by Fred Passmore that are free for use.
• Dave Marsh (USA) – An expanding collection of excellent slice-of-life dramas, by a former member of the scriptwriting team at Willow Creek.
• Dramashare (CAN) – One of the largest collections on the Internet, well ordered.
• Dramateam – Matthew Gehman's drama and mime site.
• Eliab (USA) – Free original puppet scripts, chants, songs and poems.
• His Company (USA) – A large number of free scipts.
• Nailscars (USA) – A small number of youth-oriented scripts - good quality.
• Orionsgate Scripts (USA) – A moderate number of free scripts.
• Sermon Central (USA) – A huge number of scripts, although many come from Bob Snook (see above). Dramas in the free section of this site are listed only by title, with no description, so it may be difficult to find what you are looking for. A subscription gives you access to a better search tool.
• Vision Concerts (USA) – A good number of free scripts, including mimes.

Scripts - royalty may be required

• Charles B. French.com (USA) – The scripts must be purchased for Kindle (or any mobile device with the Kindle app) but they are inexpensive and a further royalty is not required if the performance is free.
• ChurchPlays.com (USA) – ChurchPlays.com features over 65 edgy skits written by Mark Clark especially for contemporary drama ministries and youth groups, as well as longer plays for Christmas and Easter. It includes a PlayFinder to locate scripts by topic or scripture.
• ChristianDramas.net (NZ) – Christian dramas and scripts for christmas, easter and other events especially written for churches and Christian schools.
• Christian Music and Drama (USA) – A moderate range of scripts, musicals and other resources, including a piano course.
• CreativeChurch (UK) – Possibly the largest single collection of Christian drama scripts on the Internet - over 700 scripts! Also includes video clips and other resources. A ministry of the Cambridge Christian Resource Network, UK. A £15 registration gives unlimited access to all resources for a year.
• Curtains! Fetch a Sketch (USA) – Hundreds of sketches catalogued by theme, Bible reference, props, cast, length and more. Listing of sources of scripts in print and online. All searchable!
• Distinctive Notes (USA) – Several full-length musicals available, including music files.
• DramatisDei (UK) – A collection of short well-written scripts (mostly 4-7 minutes) covering Christmas to Easter, parables, Vacation Bible School scripts and lots more. Love, fun and questions about life run through the scripts. A small purchase fee covers all necessary rights: performance, script copying, video, even upload of extracts to YouTube!
• Eldridge Plays and Musicals www.95church.com www.histage.com – This year Eldridge Publishing embarks on it’s 100th year in the publishing business. We have nearly 1,000 active titles including all genres: full-lengths, one-acts, musicals, melodramas, holiday plays, children’s theatre, dinner theatre, audience participation, and resource books. While the majority of our titles are for community theatres and schools, the remaining titles are aimed for non-denominational religious market.
• Lifelines (UK) – A large collection of scripts, can be viewed freely on screen (but only in PDF format). Payment required for use.
• Light to the World Ministries (USA) – A moderate number of scripts, royalty required.
• Over The Top Publishing (USA) – Sketches, monologues, prayers, responsive readings. Some come with PowerPoint slides.
• RileysDiner (USA) – RileysDiner features church-based scripts for which a royalty is required.
• Scripts by Warren (USA) – Some of these scripts are about heroes of the faith. All are for sale.
• Source Productions (Wayne Wright musicals) (NZ) – Musicals in ready to perform format complete with backing tracks.
• Ten Talents (USA) – A good selection of scripts - royalty required, but negotiable. Will write to request.
• Willow Creek (USA) – The largest catalogue of "slice of life" dramas on the Internet. Very high quality - but a royalty required for all.

Material suitable for children

Note: Many of the following sites are not specifically Christian, but most carry material dealing with moral values and issues, or general entertainment. Many have been set up by teachers. Many of the scripts require a royalty. Listing the site here implies no endorsement - the addresses are provided purely as a service.

• Puppet Resources (Aust) – A range of Christian scripts for puppets, most free. You can search for scripts using keywords or phrases, browse the script categories, and even share some scripts that you've written. Most scripts have a Christian theme and are written in English, yet we also have a large number of non-English and secular resources too. Total scripts on file: 1,180.
• KMR Scripts (USA) – Plays and musicals for young audiences.
• Bad Wolf Press (USA) – Many well known folk stories and fairy tales.
• Children's Theatre Scripts (UK) – Plays by Belinda Loxton.
• Musicals.dot.net (USA) – The script for just about every musical you can think of is listed here.
• School Musicline (UK) – A leading supplier of school musicals.
• Drama Notebook (USA) – Around 400 scripts for children, including many folk stories and fantasies. A subscription is required for access to most of the scripts, but a small selection of free children's scripts is available here.
• Christian Counseling & Educational Services – 3 puppet scripts available for free.

• The Puppetry Homepage (USA) – Everything (but everything) you need for puppetry - secular, but a wonderful resource.
• Czech Marionettes (Czech) – Czech Marionettes is the largest online exhibition of original marionette creations and antique marionettes from the Czech. Many other good puppet resources linked from the site.
• Dramanotebook (UK) – The world's largest collection of drama lesson plans, games and activities. "Lots of church theatre directors use my site to get great ideas, some of which they adapt slightly to fit a faith-based theme. Also, every day I post a free daily drama game on FB and Twitter." • PuppetRevelation (USA) – Puppets and puppetry resources for ministries and homes. PRI removable leg puppets.

• Free RT scripts (USA) – A big range of Readers Theatre scripts - although secular, some have spiritual themes.
• Aaron Shephard's RT page (USA) – A large range of Readers Theatre scripts - secular.
• Dramatists Play Service Inc. (USA) – An extensive range of titles - secular.
• Plays and Musicals – This must be the largest resource of script titles on the Internet. Mostly secular.
