Hello, my name is Sophia Scott, Faith Turns Power Ministry, Upper Darby, Philadelphia, USA. I need your help. My church asked me to do a Black History play. I don't want anything on Martin Luther King, everyone knows about him. I am looking for something that a lot of youth and adult don't know much about. Can You Help Me? I must put this play on Feb. 24 and I was just informed about this last week and I can't seem to find anything. Any suggestions will be welcome. Thank You in advance, God Bless You. Email:

Dear Sir, When I was looking at you site I saw this possibility for help.
Is there perhaps a script available about Isaiah 46 in a kind of humorous style? For perhaps 2 to 4 players. The audience will be at the age of 16 to 75. Thanks and best regards, Anja Sloetjes, AS Aalten, Holland. Email:

I am looking for mime type evangelistic scripts on the theme sin, forgiveness, resurrection, salvation, etc that can be put to Spanish music or preformed silently, to lead into preaching on the streets of El Catey in the Dominican Republic for Spanish speakers with an interpreter. Some Spanish language signs could be incorporated into the skits to help with interpretation. These will be done on the street in small villages in the Dominican Republic. After 3-5 dramas there will be preaching of salvation and an invitation to follow Jesus. I could use between 3-5 dramas of this nature. Intended performance date June 2007. Our drama team consists of about 5-8 teenage performers. We can make some payment for the scripts, depending on quality and relevance. Thanks for your help, Todd Miller, Student Pastor, First Southern Baptist Church, Scottsdale Arizona. Email:

I have a troupe of 14 teenagers. 3 males (maybe 4 if I'm lucky) and the rest are females. I need a script for Easter that is about an hour long. The teens want something centered around a soldier's viewpoint. I will be adding in contemporary Christian music to the script. The heavier the better. I don't want anything too light and it needs to be Biblical. Nothing modern. I represent Good Shepherd UMC, Inspiration Good Shepherd Youth Theatre Troupe. This is my 11th year. We are located in Thornton, Colorado. We are looking to begin practice at the beginning of March. Audience would be churches and we perform with bare bones sets and no lighting or special effects. No payment possible at this time. I am only a volunteer. Thanks, Michelle. Email:

Hi, I just found your web site and I think it is great. I bookmarked it and plan on putting it to good and frequent use. I have found plenty of skits that we can use but not exactly what I need for this particular program. My troupe and I are putting a Valentines Day dinner theater style program as a fundraiser for our church puppet troupe. We have all the resources that we need except one. What we need now is a female monologue to be used to interact with the dinner guests. It needs to be Christian based and humorous. Maybe something along the lines of having to wait tables on Valentines day, a guest that has been 'stood up' for a date, or even the 'cook' in the kitchen checking on the food, I really have no experience with this kind of. I would like this person to walk among the guests, make comments to them, and even make little joking comments at the guests expense. It does not have to have any serious moral to the story just as long as it has no off color innuendos. I hope I have not made this too difficult. Thanks so much for any help you can offer, Candace. Dan Keefe, Jamestown, NY, USA, is looking for a humorous script about sexual harassment in an office environment. Aim of performance: to give a clear picture of what constitutes sexual harassment in the workplace. I would like it to be done in reader’s theater style so we don’t have to memorize; 5-7 minutes long. Intended performance date and deadline for script: March 15, 2006. Intended audience: Office workers, nurses, environmental health sanitarians. Cast limitations/possibilities: 1 female, 2 males. We could make some arrangements for a modest payment. Email:

hi, just wondering if any one had any short plays for children to perform, about 5-10 mins in length, lighthearted with a christian message. It's for a group of girls aged 4-7. There are 20 in the group but probably only 5 or 6 could manage speaking parts. The event is an end of term parents evening for their youth club. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Charlotte Smyth. Email:
