Three high school students, John, Brian and Amy, are invited to dinner by the family of another student, Mark, who rescued the three from a fire but died while looking to see if anyone else was trapped. John is a self-centered jock who only came because his mother made him. Brian cares more about drinking and drugs than school. Amy is a member of the school Goth subculture. How will Mark's family react when they meet the three students Mark gave his life for? Will Mark’s sacrifice have any effect on John, Brian and Amy?
